NHS Knowledge and Library Hub​

Welcome to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub training is a recording of a training session aimed at all NHS knowledge and library staff. 

The session included a demonstration of the Hub and associated resources.   Topics covered include: 

  • accessing the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub 

  • logging-in and authentication 

  • basic and advanced searching 

  • limits and filters 

  • full-text access 

  • exporting results 

An editable slide deck has been created that can be modified as required in support of user training.

Holdings Link Manager and EBSCOadmin

EBSCO offered a 60-minute webinar covering Holdings Management using EBSCOAdmin to manage your collection in the Hub and other systems. A recording is available.  Sessions on HLM are also scheduled by the NHSE team and appear on Accent.

Making the most of the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub was a 60-minute webinar providing an introduction to the Knowledge and Library Hub for librarians. A recording is available. Sessions are planned for the new user interface in 2025.

LibKey​

Book onto any Third Iron training sessions for a 30- 60 minute private session customised to provide an overview of the LibKey suite of products that's tailored for your needs.

Training is available from Proquest, Ovid, EBSCO and Refworks. Materials for you to tailor for your local training sessions are also available.

RefWorks​

RefWorks reference management software is available to NHS knowledge and library staff who undertake evidence and literature searching. 

The RefWorks Knowledge Center includes documentation, knowledge articles and training videos.

Royal Marsden Manual

Wiley are offering basic and advanced training sessions on the Royal Marden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures.

Basic sessions will cover searching the platform; advanced sessions will cover personalisation and customisation with local Trust guidelines.

The 30-minute drop-in sessions are aimed at KLS staff and end users; whoever needs training. Dates are listed on Wiley's Go ToWebinar platform via these links:
