Lessons learned
About using lessons learned to communicate how to avoid mistakes and improve processes.
These are concise descriptions of knowledge derived from experiences, that can be communicated through mechanisms such as storytelling, debriefing etc, or summarised in databases.
These lessons often reflect on “what we did right,” “what we would do differently,” and “how we could improve our process and product to be more effective in the future.”
