Submitting an impact case study

The National Knowledge and Library Services Team collect impact case studies for advocacy and promotion and to make them available to the NHS knowledge and library services community.
We are particularly looking for case studies in the following priority areas:
- education and training
- equality, diversity and inclusion
- digital innovation/digital literacy
- health and wellbeing
- health inequalities
- health literacy
- Integrated Care Systems
- knowledge and library innovation
- knowledge mobilisation
- library space
- the Long Term Workforce Plan (for example, apprentices, new roles, recruitment and retention)
- managerial and non-clinical decision making
- Obstetrics and Maternity/Midwifery
- Primary Care
- population health
- resource discovery or core content
- sustainability
Submitting a case study
To submit an impact case study follow the below steps.
- Download the impact case study template.
- Capture the details of the impact case study with your service user.
- Register on FutureNHS.
- Request to join the Knowledge and Library Services Impact Case Studies workspace.
- Complete the impact case study submissions form on the workspace.
Deadlines for submission
The impact process will open on 6 February 2024 until the end of February. Please only submit 1 or maximum 2 case studies in this initial stage.
The first batch of case studies will be assessed by our panel of reviewers in April.
We will contact you to let you know whether your case study will be added to the database or whether we recommend some changes.
