About the electroninc resources purchased for NHS staff as part of National Core Content.

Nationally purchased content comprises a range of electronic databases, journals, ebooks, BMJ Best Practice, and Trip Pro. 

HEE funds these resources and NICE manages the procurement process and the contracts with suppliers.  

NICE funds the BNF and the Cochrane Library.  These resources are authenticated via IP address. 

All other resources are authenticated via NHS OpenAthens.  If you do not have an OpenAthens account, please register for one.

Resources may be accessed from the HEE Knowledge and Library Hub (you should login with your OpenAthens account via the yellow bar to ensure you get access to all your resources).
