Learning and development bursaries

Bursaries to support our small and highly specialist workforce to develop and respond to new technologies and ways of working.

During 2021-22 we will be considering bursary applications which focus on the following key areas:

  • Upskilling library assistants and paraprofessional staff to undertake opportunities which would equip them for roles in areas such as digital skills and health literacy.
  • Developing skills which would help KLS colleagues to move into embedded, outreach or clinical knowledge specialist roles.
  • Developing skills which would help KLS colleagues at all levels in digital skills development.

Applicants will need to demonstrate the value of the intended development opportunity for themselves, their organisation, and the wider knowledge and library workforce.  Successful applicants will commit to sharing their learning with the knowledge and library community after the event.
